European Tommy Hilfiger Denim® Store Showcase
AMSTERDAM ‘04 - Passersby can’t help but notice the two giant Tommy Girls painted by New York artist Sharon Pell, as they greet shoppers at Tommy Hilfiger Denim stores in Belgium (Antwerp, Wijnegem), Germany (Kempten, Ludwigsburg, Berlin) and the UK (Manchester). These custom pieces were commissioned specifically for European Tommy Hilfiger Denim stores for the Spring collections after the Director of Retail Marketing in Amsterdam visited the New York showrooms in November and saw 6 giant S*Pellbinders showcased there. Apparently the girls are bringing in business - “We all loved them very much, they had a great impact on our customers and so I hereby would like to thank you very much for making this possible!” said Irthe Schurink, Retail Marketing with Tommy Hilfiger. |
